JJC provides a full range of permanency services to foster parents and kinship parents and pre-adoptive parents who are seeking permanency for children placed in their care.
JJC’s Department of Permanency Planning (DOPP) has been facilitating child adoptions since 1994 through the Pennsylvania Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network (SWAN) to provide adoption, legal custodianship, and pre and post services to adoptable children. Services include working one on one with adoptable children to ready them for adoption or legal custodianship. Our social workers prepare child profiles, adoption finalization, family profiles, child preparation services, and aftercare support.
